Performance Work:

For as long as she can remember, Cate knew she would be involved in the performing arts. The 8th grade required school musical was a jumping off point when she realized all of her passions could be combined. Her years of dance class, show choir, and many more (not required) musicals prepared her for a career on stage.

​

At American University, Cate earned a BA in Musical Theater where she took a variety of courses to expand her skillset. She is experienced in physical theater, Shakespeare, object theater, and Linklater technique.

​

Now, Cate works across the DMV in a variety of performance styles. Her work in children's theater has taught her puppeteering, show development, and how to understudy. In her recent plays, she is known for her comedic timing and has enhanced her performance of heightened text. Cate's diverse theater experiences have made her excellent at capturing the hearts of audiences of all ages.​

Cate is an established educational theater choreographer and educator. Cate has worked with students across all ages, from Pre-K to college.
